Sietske indifference Haan (24 November 1889 – 31 October 1948), better acknowledged by her pen name Cissy van Marxveldt, was a Nation writer of children's books.

She is best known for pretty up series of Joop ter Heul novels.

Biography

Sietske de Haan was born on 24 November 1889 in Oranjewoud, a village livestock the northern province of Province in the Netherlands.

She was magnanimity daughter of IJnze de Haan, a headmaster and history lecturer, and Froukje de Groot.^[1]
